155. The Bent Tree of the Scripture and This Teaching of Mine
My life in the human flesh two thousand years ago has clearly demonstrated you that love, love, and once again love for the Father, and for all around, is that path that shall solve all the problems of humanity. Simply there is no other choice so that you would change your life into the one desired by your soul. There is no any other choice. Had it been some other path, and a better one, to create your better life I would have demonstrated it for you.
Even today, as two thousand years have already passed, not all of you are capable of understanding this path of mine. And the crucial mistake has been made by the authors of the gospels who were writing them not inspired by God, as you are permanently claiming, but rather merely rendering their recollections of my teachings already many years after my ascension to the Father. Since none of them understood my teachings the way I had taught them so their recollections were also tinged with erroneous concepts on my teaching that did not reach you up to the present day either. It is only because of this reason that I allowed the revelation that you have received under the name of The Urantia Book to be presented. This revelation is an enormous piece of work by a big collective of spirits that has conveyed the biggest panorama of the present creation and the Father‘s operation within all His family.
At that time man has not been delivered from the slavery of fear that much so that I might have explained to my brethren such teachings that are given by the revelation of The Urantia Book. Therefore I had to limit my teaching to your capability of comprehending it. However, even this appeared to be too difficult for you, and you started distorting my ideas and teaching, and adjusting them to the environment. I have never raised myself as the central figure of my teaching. And Christianity invented by you has created me as its key person that all the Christian dogmas revolve around. You must regain your dignity and stretch out from your bent stand, yet you must render such a respect and love to my person as you do to your each brother in spirit while you must elevate the person of the Father to the very center, and to love all only with His love.
You must understand that that teaching of mine and the present one are designed that you not only realize but also experience that the best path of your living is no other but the Father‘s path. And you cannot think of any other and better path however you would desire it. Therefore, I am presenting, thru my apostle and the ambassador of the Father, this current teaching of mine cherishing a desire that you would stop thinking that the teaching presented by the gospels, that now you so often reiterate, is providing you the best path. This is the path invented by you but it is not the path of my teachings.
I have never taught you that you must heighten me and elevate me in all the luminosity that would even overshadow the luminosity of the Father that is uniformly shining to all the creation and also to me, even as to you, each.
Like two thousand years ago, as I was in the form visible to your eyes, so am I now using your brother in spirit in order you would receive my teaching that your material eyes could read, your material mind could perceive, and your opened up soul could experience. You must comprehend with all your opened up soul that my mission two thousand years ago was exactly the same as this current teaching of mine – to reveal the Father to you and to reveal man to the Father. That I have done by my living in the course of which I have always been teaching only love and nothing more. It is only love being felt by the soul that does such deeds that cannot be done by your mind without a solid love foundation. It is only with the Father‘s love that you can firmly stand in your present unquiet and often very stormy life. Simply there is no better path than that of the Father throughout the creation. The time has arrived when I must tell you, as I have told you two thousand years before – I am that path to the Father, I am a living water whose Source is the Father, I am that life bread that is being grown by the Father, I am that good shepherd who is from the Father. I and the Father are one in spirit. I have never taught you that I am the love source that warms you up. However, I have told you that I love you even as the Father loves you, that you must also love each other even as I have loved you. Now I am telling you – the source of love is the Father who is also filling up me with His love power so that I can also love you even as the Father loves you, and that you must also love each other even as the Father loves you.
This is the only path that is capable of correcting all the erring you have been experiencing while following the gospels that have distorted my teachings. It is only due to this that you are unable to dare to associate with the Father and discover Him, the Father himself, within your own selves, for you are afraid of Him, you have not approached and cuddled up to Him in spirit like loving children materially cuddle up to their earthly father even during the moment of happiness not only while suffering in pain or fear.
This teaching of mine is meant for the purpose that along with reading the present gospels you would devote ever more attention to the studies of this teaching and to the real discovery of the Father within you. You must realize that the true path is the one that provides the Father‘s love to your soul. And the soul cannot experience the Father‘s love without sincerely addressing the Father permanently, daily.
I am speaking to you not the way you are being spoken to by your blind spiritual leaders, priests, who do not live by the Father‘s love but rather by a ritualistic reading of the gospel, by their cold and calculating material mind but rather I am speaking to you as that spiritual leader of all of you who is always one with the Father and who desires that you, each, would be one with the Father in spirit.
How shall you be one in spirit with the Father if in your prayers you always keep only me as the central person. Give a due place in your prayers, and in life, to the Father. Praise Him as He is fit to be heightened even as I have praised Him, by all my life that you can read the fullest portrayal of in the revelation of The Urantia Book in particular.
And by my present teaching I had one aim – to expand your perception not only about me and about some aspects of the creation but also about some aspects of your present life. Now you have a subsidiary means – this teaching of mine - how to improve or eliminate these aspects that are heavy to you as an unnecessary lumber preventing your free breathing and your progress.
You have no alternative but the only one – the path to the Father. The other path is leading you to the annihilation of your identity. However, your choice is always personal and always of your own free will. You are choosing between the real death and the eternal life. You are not choosing between a good path, a better path, and the best path. You are choosing between the path of the living faith , survival, and the path of disappearance from all the creation throughout all eternity. But having made the choice to survive you must boldly walk along the path of the Father and follow His leading that is real within each of you.
It is for inciting you to survive and walk on this Father‘s path that I have given you this teaching. It is only the Father‘s path that guarantees the solution of all your present and painful problems already at the present time; and during all the time in the future as well. It is only the Father that is the love power that shall extinguish all the fires of wars; it is only the Father‘s love that shall melt hatred among religions; it is only the Father discovered within you, each, that shall enable you to feel me too as being alive rather than hanging on the cross; it is the vibrations of the Father‘s love having waked up your soul, fill it up with life so that it shall start serving with good deeds even those whom that man‘s mind has previously considered to be his enemies.
Therefore, your choice is the only one – to serve, together with me, the Father who is the only and eternal Source of love to you, and to me, and to all the creation.
Therefore, the person of the Father must shine with all its brightness within you and in your life even as He was shining within me and in my life when I sojourned in your flesh.
My teaching shall provide you not only understanding that the Father is within your own selves but it shall also supply you with resolution to turn at the Father not far away on high as you enjoy repeating but rather close, within yourselves. You are traveling to the Father by your inner turning at and faith in Him but without being able to escape a meeting with me. Those of you, each, who shall choose faith-survival shall personally meet with me. However this meeting shall take place when, after your resurrection, you travel from this initial world of yours much further away, when you cover all the stage of your soul testing and teaching and after you become an eternal spirit. Then your vision range shall be enormously expanded so that you shall already see me with your natural spiritual vision. You will not be in need of the assisting spiritual beings who would lower the energy vibration of my spiritual form to your former soul vision range.
You will see me and listen to my teaching while being in the form of the soul too but our personal meeting, with each of you, shall differ from those general meetings during the soul teaching.
