146. The Father Provides You Wisdom to See further

While still being an adolescent as I was in the human flesh on your world I experienced a big disappointment when I was approached by a delegation of the Jews calling on me to join a nationalistic movement that was forming up at that time and that was targeting to prepare the youth for such actions that would end in the liberation from the oppression of the gentile Roman empire. My disappointment was associated with a deeper vantage-point and comprehension that any movement of liberation was doomed to failure. The empire was too powerful to be struggled against by the insignificant forces of the Jews. Especially this type of the empire the was missing a deeper concept of God therefore the attitude of its authorities towards the Jews was even more negative than to the other unbelieving outskirts of the empire. 

And it was especially sad that the senselessness of this step was not perceived by either the delegation that was so stubbornly urging me to join them or the men that had sent the delegation to me pursuing their own interests that by having drawn me to their side they would also draw the youth of all Nazareth and its vicinity who to a great extent were associating among themselves and knew me very well. I was feeling an inner pain that the grown-up people due to their nearsightedness and under a cover of the patriotic slogans started antagonizing the young people and set them against each other. And as I refused to join the nationalists there a split occurred even among my own relatives. And it is actually due to the nearsightedness of man in politics that one relative can find himself on the opposite side of the barricades of the struggle. And my refusal to support the nationalists even divided the youth of all Nazareth. I had never experienced such a disappointment before. I had been accustomed to providing a free will to act to all, whatever might be an expression of another man‘s free will, however I would oppose that free-will action yet I had never entertained a desire to feel anger, or at least an irritation, for that man because of his action.   

And now I sensed right way as those whose hopes for attracting me to their side dashed started hating me, calling me a coward and by other insulting names. The relations that had been good just a moment before, instantaneously, broke off, cooled, and estranged even though I did not change and was the same as I had been just a moment before. Merely my refusal to obey the activists changed their attitude towards me, as well as that of some of my relatives. 

I am telling you this so that you would know that a wiser decision, as well as its implementation, does not mean that you shall always receive support for this step of yours from all. You must realize that people have a different understanding and depth of thinking. Therefore, those who shall fail to understand your actions and shall not support them shall be trying to set other people from their own environment against you. And that they shall be doing by all means possible. They shall be defaming you, slandering you, pouring out any possible mud just to stop your striding forward. You must keep in mind that in this environment of a spiritual darkness that is reigning in your planet of today, even as it has reigned in my times as I have been among you, men cannot forgive each other and get offended very quickly. This is purely an animal trait – to control others by force irrespective of the fact were it a physical force, a political power, or the power of money. Now you are being governed by the animal instinct – to dominate others starting with every political party, collective, or a state and ending with a union of states, or any other bigger structure – rather than being governed by wisdom and devotion to the Father while serving each other with love and mercy.        

Therefore you must get ready, by spiritually submitting yourselves to the leading of the Father from within and to the wisdom passed over to you by Him to follow it so that you would strengthen your faith and the firmness of your stride on the spiritual path even more rather than just to be able to withstand the future attacks against you from all the sides, even from your friends.

You must know that while being in the flesh, still an adolescent, I knew that all the questions and problems can be solved only by peaceful means and thru the faith in the Father. And this path is perceived only by those who devote themselves to the Father and thus receive His wise teachings, and it is due to them that I have comprehended that a nationalistic movement has been doomed to failure and that it should lead to the defeat and a bitter suffering. Therefore, it is a deeper comprehension that has enabled me not to join the movement even though my step has divided the youth of Nazareth. But I could not behave otherwise.
